Specifications include, but are not limited to: The respondent should have the capacity to develop a Business Education and TrainingConsortium focused on basic employability skills and job specific skills designed to meet theneeds of Napa County industries. The consortium should be comprised of education, training andworkforce development partners in Napa County and will serve to:Establish a link between the industry and local career guidance counselors at schools andtraining institutionsIdentify workplace expectations modules, especially for small and growing businessesProvide information about relevant programs and initiatives to industry partnersDevelop and implement a public awareness campaign to inform Napa students and jobseekers about the career opportunities that the industry offers to Napa County residentsAdvocate to increase funds for literacy, basic skills, ESL, and incumbent worker training
