The City of Montebello (City), Montebello Bus Lines (MBL), is seeking proposals from fully qualified and experienced vendors, licensed in the State of California, for the Bus Tire Lease Services. The scope of work involves the supply, delivery, and leasing of tires specifically designed for urban heavy-duty transit buses, ensuring optimal performance and safety for MBL’s fleet. The selected vendor will also be responsible for providing tire maintenance services, including the assignment of a tire attendant to oversee regular inspections, inflation checks, tread monitoring, and timely replacements. The tire attendant will work in close coordination with MBL’s maintenance team to ensure the transit fleet remains in safe and efficient operating condition. The vendor will be required to supply all necessary tools, equipment, and expertise to maintain tire quality throughout the service life of the tires. Additionally, the vendor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards throughout the contract term.
