The City of Long Beach Department of Financial Management, Fleet Services Bureau, is requesting submittals from qualified bidders to provide parts and service for BMW R1200RT-P, 1250GS S-P, 1250-RT and 1300GS Motorcycles on an as-needed basis. These motorcycles are used by the City of Long Beach Police Department in daily operations. Bidders must be authorized franchised dealers of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) motorcycle replacement parts and service centers. The Police Department anticipates having approximately 30 operational units which will be supported by this contract. The bidder shall maintain sufficient inventory to provide an order fill rate of 80%. The City reserves the right to inspect the facilities at any time to ensure adequate part stock.
