Consultant’s general scope of work includes the preliminary engineering, environmental clearance, and design work necessary for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for the Project, including the preparation of all necessary resource agency applications and any other agency-required documents. Anticipated Tasks: Design seawall stabilization and improvements based on City approved alignment. Create complete plans and bid documents for construction of all improvements. Prepare application packages for and obtain permits from applicable resource agencies as compatible with Belvedere Seismic Project Final EIR (see Exhibit V). These include Army Corps of Engineers, Regional Water Quality Control Board and Bay Conservation and Development Commission and others as required. Perform additional surveys, utility locating, and geotechnical services as necessary for proper PS&E preparation. Meet with City staff as needed and present preliminary design and construction cost estimates for review. Coordinate with impacted utility companies, as needed, and schedule the planned relocations and improvements. Perform at least one public outreach workshop and make at least one presentation to the City Council. Assist the City with creating and obtaining Temporary Construction Easements where needed. Prepare construction plan to coordinate equipment access, staging and traffic control plan. Provide bid support, including attending a pre-bid meeting, respond to requests for information and assist with any required bid addenda. Provide additional design services as needed during construction. Respond to RFIs from the Contractor and perform technical reviews of submittals as required. Meet with City staff throughout the project period and provide project status briefings as needed. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2025
