The Bakersfield City School District (BCSD) invites proposals from qualified organizations to develop and deliver professional development, services, and materials for the implementation of Visual Thinking, Cognitive Skill Development Services and related programs. The aim of this professional development is to enhance collaboration, shared learning, and professional development opportunities for educators within our district. The selected provider will demonstrate expertise in designing and facilitating Cognitive Mapping Strategies initiatives that foster professional growth, enhance teaching practices, and ultimately improve student outcomes. The provider must support instructional practices to enhance collaboration, critical thinking, and improved outcomes for all students, with specific attention to English Learners and other underserved populations.
