The project work shall include the following tasks: Work for this right turn lane addition project includes: demolition and disposal of abandoned utilities, remove and re-construct existing PCC and AC pavements; construct new PCC and AC pavements with base and sub-base; remove and reconstruct curb & gutter; construct a dual curb ramps per approved Plans and Specifications; remove and re-construct PCC sidewalk, and 4 Concrete Driveways. and any other work required per Plans and Specifications. Work also includes: at the southeast corner of the intersection, remove and reconstruct traffic signal pull boxes; remove and reconstruct traffic signal poles on new foundations, accessible pedestrian push button (all corners), countdown ped heads (all corners), luminaires, mast arms, conduits, loop detectors and sign post; signing and striping; traffic signal improvements include a new traffic signal controller (procured by the City, contractor to install), new battery backup system, video traffic detection system, yellow retroreflective signal head backplates, new wiring, a new traffic signal communications module and any other work required per Plans and Specifications.
