Rooftop Units (RTUs) – Controls Installation Upgrade the control systems for six (6) existing rooftop packaged units using Carrier i-Vu or direct digital control (DDC) technology or equivalent product with project manager’s approval. The work includes: • Supply and install (6) Carrier i-Vu controllers or equivalent product upon approval, one per RTU. • Install and wire the following components for each rooftop unit: o (1) DDC controller mounted inside each RTU. o (1) current sensor to monitor indoor fan status. o (1) Carrier ZS sensor for space temperature and CO₂ monitoring. o (1) duct-mounted sensor for supply air temperature (SAT). o (1) duct-mounted sensor for return air temperature. • Supply and install (1) outside air temperature (OAT) sensor, either shared or individual based on system design. • Connect to factory-mounted actuators and wiring for control integration. Dehumidification Unit – Controls Installation Upgrade the control system for (1) existing dehumidification unit using a Carrier i-Vu controller. • Supply and install (1) Carrier i-Vu controller or equivalent product upon project manager approval. • Installation and wiring: o (1) DDC controller housed in a NEMA 3R weather-resistant enclosure. o (1) current sensor to monitor indoor fan status. o (1) Carrier ZS sensor for temperature, CO₂, and humidity monitoring. o (1) duct-mounted supply air temperature (SAT) sensor. o (1) duct-mounted return air temperature sensor. • Wiring and integrating with factory-mounted actuators. Exhaust and Ventilation Fan Controls Integrate control functionality for (7) existing exhaust and/or ventilation fans. • Supply and install (1) DDC controller housed in a UL 508A certified NEMA 4 enclosures for weather resistance and durability. • Utilize the existing seven (7) Start/Stop relays to control fan operation.
