1. Full replacement of all existing AED units with a standardized and up-to-date model to be submitted to and approved by the City a) Remove and dispose of all current AEDs in accordance with applicable regulations. Furnish and install new AED units that include: i) Adult and pediatric pads ii) Long-life batteries iii) Wall cabinets and signage (if required) iv) Carry cases and manuals All installation work must be performed by contractor personnel onsite, in coordination with City staff. 2. Onsite delivery, installation, and replacement of AED batteries and electrode pads by trained contractor personnel a) Contractor shall perform all physical replacements onsite—AED pads and batteries shall not be shipped for City staff to install. Maintain a detailed replacement schedule and proactively schedule service visits ahead of expiration dates. Provide service visit confirmation and documentation for each unit serviced. 3. Provision of technical support for inspections, troubleshooting, or device-related issues a) Provide responsive, onsite technician support for any reported AED malfunctions or questions. Technicians must be trained and certified in maintaining the specific models deployed. Contractor shall respond within a mutually agreed timeframe to service requests
