The City of San José is soliciting responses from qualified vendors for as-required broadband radio links, wireless radio frequency (RF), and cellular coverage equipment and services. The requirements pertaining to each category of equipment and services are set forth as separate packages. This RFP comprises the following three (3) packages: Package A: Broadband Point-to Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) Package B: Wireless Broadband LTE Cellular Routing for Remote WAN Package C: Wireless RF and Cellular for Facilities All equipment or warranties must be new and eligible for sale in the United States. Interested proposers may bid on one or more packages, with each package being evaluated and scored separately. Through this RFP, the City intends to evaluate and select one or more firms that best meet the technical and business requirements of the City. Instructions: 1. Refer to the RFP package, including the main RFP document and all supporting attachments, exhibits, and forms for more details. 2. The submittal deadline is absolute. Proposals received after the submittal deadline will not be considered. SALES TAX: Do not include sales tax in your solicitation response. The City will work with the selected vendor to establish the applicable tax for contract award. BASIS OF AWARD is Non-Price Determinative: This solicitation shall be awarded based on an evaluation of “best value” in accordance with the evaluation criteria specified in the solicitation documents. LOCAL/SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PREFERENCE: The City’s Local and Small Business Enterprise (LBE/SBE) Preference is applicable to this solicitation.
