Selected firms will be required to provide a range of security services including, but not limited to the scope of services outlined in the services below. The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms who have received and maintained current SAFETY Act coverage at the Certification level and have held the Certification level for at least one (1) year from the date of this RFP. The bidder’s staff shall be highly qualified security personnel to ensure a safe and lawful environment for those attending events across the City, at Pier H, and at the Long Beach Amphitheater. Moreover, the expected firm will have the following basic responsibilities: • Personnel & Supervision • Capacity to provide services up to 24/hours, 7 days a week Security, as needed. • Labor • DHS SAFETY Act Approved Products List for Homeland Security • Qualified Ant-terrorism Technologies • Training for Staff
