Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1S Provide general customer service support for passengers and members of the public 3.2S Protect the safety of persons on the site 3.3S Prevent and minimize fire, theft, damage, and trespassing on NCTD properties 3.4S Prohibit entry into secure areas by anyone other than persons carrying valiNCTD identification or as otherwise instructed by NCTD 3.5S Report any unusual incidents or hazardous conditions 3.6S Maintain a daily log for each shift in accordance with all policies for the site 3.7S Complete rounds of assigned facilities as required for each site to ensure that all access doors are secure 3.8S Immediately report all security violations to the Monitoring Center (MC) and follow up with a written report 3.9S Be familiar with fire and evacuation procedures for all sites 3.10S Be familiar with intrusion alarms in buildings 3.11S Be familiar with NCTD procedures and protocols for responding to emergency incidents including medical emergencies, bomb threats, fires natural disasters and police responses 3.12S Be familiar with ticket vending machines, schedules, and customer service literature 3.13S Be familiar with NCTD lost and found procedures 3.14S Limit cell phone use to when required to perform specified duties, and not possess personal electronic devices or reading material unrelated to Officer duties while on duty 3.15S Be polite, courteous, respectful and responsive to everyone 3.16S Avoid conducting any personal business while performing services under this contract except for authorized breaks when outside the view of the public 3.17S Be familiar with the NCTD Security and Rail communication systems and abide by all Federal Communications System, Regional Communications System, and NCTD rules regarding communication and use of radios 3.18S Perform foot and/or vehicle patrol, to monitor and maintain for all NCTD customers and employees at NCTD facilities, stations, bus stops, and public areas 3.19S Assist Code Compliance Inspectors and/or Law Enforcement Officers as requested, and/or issue citations to offenders 3.20S Participate in investigations resulting in apprehension of persons known or suspected to be engaged in unlawful acts on or adjacent to the areas for which Contractor is providing security services. Testify in court or other proceedings when subpoenaed or requested and prepare written declarations. 3.21S Prevent unauthorized entry into NCTD restricted areas and ROW 3.22S Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from NCTD property 3.23S Using the approved templates submitted as a Contractor Deliverable, submit comprehensive reports including, but not limited to: detailed daily logs, incident/accident reports and crime reports in NCTD’s incident management system format for every incident of crime, personal injury, accident, and damage to any person or property in an accurate level of detail consistent with standard reporting requirements.
