Under the City's general supervision, Consultant shall provide as-needed professional Marine Structural Engineering services by Task Orders on an hourly basis. Marine Structural Engineering services shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: preparation of construction documents for various marine-related structural improvement projects; preparation of environmental documents; assistance in the acquisition of various permits (ministerial and discretionary) with the City and various Regulatory Agencies (including but not limited to California Coastal Commission, Army Corps of Engineers, Regional Water Quality Control Board) including any necessary coordination, studies and preparation of environmental documents and presentations needed to obtain the permits; structural inspection of marine-related structures and preparation of inspection reports and recommendations, condition assessment, and risk analyses; presentations to various community and advisory groups; preparation of site improvement plans, grading, drainage, planting, irrigation, lighting/electrical plans, plans for hardscape and other amenities; preparation of construction specifications and cost estimates; preparation of reports, studies and/or construction documents relating to the design and construction of outdoor public areas; and provide bid and construction support services and other services necessary to complete the Tasks.
