Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Moorpark (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms, consultants or consultant teams (Proposers) with arts master planning experience to evaluate the City’s existing public art policies and programs, assess the community’s attitudes and interests regarding art, and create the City’s first Arts Master Plan (Master Plan). The goal of the Master Plan is to establish a communitywide vision for the City’s public art program, update existing policies and identify resources and partnerships to achieve that vision, and set feasible priorities and programs that align with the vision and will serve to guide public and private efforts over the next ten years. The Master Plan, and ancillary deliverables, will also provide direction to City Council, the Arts Commission, and City staff on the planning and processes necessary to effectively administer and maintain the City’s public art program
