The purpose of removing trash, recycling, and organic/green waste is to enable the California Military Department (CMD) to provide sanitary facilities for armory personnel and soldiers in support of its broader mission to acquire, develop, and maintain land and facilities; to support the administration, training, and readiness of the California National Guard; and to develop and enhance relationships to maximize the value of our facilities to our Soldiers and the communities we serve. Specifically, the Contractor will be responsible for providing weekly pick-ups of bins, once per week. Actual pick-up day to be coordinated with Contract Manager (CM), and subjected to change for operational needs, must be scheduled on a reoccurring basis. By fulfilling these objectives, the Contractor will help CMD to maintain a clean and sanitary facility. All work must adhere to CMD’s policies, standards, and applicable regulations, and it will be evaluated against defined performance criteria (see Section 3).
