The California School for the Deaf, Fremont (CSDF) serves over 350 students and their families, and over 300 employees. All of the students use American Sign Language (ASL), and a majority of the staff (80%) use ASL as well. CSDF provides comprehensive educational services, starting with Early Childhood Education through post-high school, with the RealWorld Program. Additionally, CSDF has a residential program that is open from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon. CSDF students participate in athletics and extracurricular activities starting in elementary school that go through high school. The Contractor will provide certified ASL interpreting services, including trilingual (English, Spanish, and ASL) interpreting services, on an as-needed basis, for the CSDF, located at 39350 Gallaudet Drive, Fremont, CA 94538, or another location as assigned by the California Department of Education (CDE), as described herein.
