Specifications include, but are not limited to: UCLA Health is requesting proposals for procurement of Ambulance services to supplement the current UCLA Ambulance Transport Program. The purpose of this RFP is to identify and select qualified Ambulance Vendor(s) who are licensed by the Department of Health Services (DHS), through the Emergency Medical Services Agency, Los Angeles County (EMSA-LAC), described in Title 7, Los Angeles County Code, Section 7.16 – Ambulances, to provide Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Specialty Care Transport (SCT). The identified vendor will utilize appropriately Certified and licensed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-1), Paramedics, Critical Care Transport Registered Nurses (CCTRN) and Registered Respiratory Care Practitioners (RRCP). The selected vendor(s) must meet all the mandatory and specific functional requirements identified by UCLA Health to support the scope of service provided by the UCLA Health Ambulance Program.
