Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work is divided into the subsequent tasks: 1. Develop and Submit Monitoring and Data Management Plan 2. Repair, Install, Re-Configure and Re-Calibrate Equipment 3. Operate and Maintain Equipment 4. Data Review, Validation and Reporting 5. Shipping, Handling, and Laboratory Analysis of Speciation Air Sampling System (SASS) and Carbon (URG) Filters 6. Quality Assurance Site Audits It will be the Proposer’s responsibility to perform site improvements and instrument repair and maintenance as needed to operate these stations within the U.S. EPA guidance document, Quality Assurance Handbook for Air Pollution Measurement Systems, Volume II; January 2017. In particular, an important criterion for operating the Met One FEM BAM 1020 (see Section 7.2.2 and/or Appendix D), suggests maintaining an inside operating temperature of 20-30°C, with less than 2°C standard deviation over the day. The Proposer will need to coordinate with Baja California’s Secretaria de Proteccion al Ambiente (SPA) to perform any contract obligations to operate the monitoring equipment required as part of this RFP. SPA has agreed to loan CARB and its contractor the monitoring equipment located at the UABC and COBACH sites for this two-year (2) study.
