The selected designer will be responsible for delivering: 1 | An initial discovery and strategy session with City staff and key stakeholders to understand the Airport’s history, current operations, and future vision. 2 | Research into the Airport’s unique services and legacy, including general aviation, Cal Fire operations, military use, and its strategic role in regional economic development. 3 | Consideration of the City of Paso Robles’ existing branding and style guide to ensure visual harmony and brand consistency. 4 | Design of a modular logo system, consisting of: A primary (base) logo that represents the current mission and operations of the Paso Robles Municipal Airport. This may include subtle futuristic cues that suggest forward momentum and advanced technology as the City seeks to broaden the services provided by the Airport. An additional, future-forward spaceport layer or visual component that can be seamlessly added to the base logo if and when the Airport obtains an official spaceport designation or license. This addition should visually complement the base logo and symbolize the innovation and aerospace direction of the facility. 5 | Develop 3-5 initial logo concepts based on feedback and project goals.
