Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Conducting field assessment for: • Motivation and engagement, • Explosive odor detection skills, • Handler’s ability to interpret the canine’s change of behavior, • Handler’s ability to conduct logical and systematic searches, and • Team’s ability to locate the explosive odor source, extended searches, etc.; and • Understanding team’s needs before, during, and after the training session 2) Developing trouble-shooting trainings that adapt to team dynamics and meet the needs of the teams 3) Creating contingency training plans if the initial trainings fail 4) Connecting with teams before, during, and after the trainings 5) Providing weekly maintenance training exercise 6) Providing customized training for teams who may need additional help
