The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations to provide preventive maintenance, parts, and as-needed repair services for existing air compressors located at LBPUD facilities and/or other locations throughout the City of Long Beach in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability. The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to provide the services. Repairs shall be requested on the as-needed basis. Air compressor preventive maintenance shall be completed semi-annually or as-needed per manufacturer’s specifications. Preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs shall be conducted at the following locations, unless directed otherwise: LBPUD Treatment Plant, 2950 Redondo Ave Long Beach, CA 90806 4311 Division Street (Division St/Bennett Ln), Long Beach, CA 90803 Long Beach Convention Center parking garage, Hart Place/Seaside Way, Long Beach, CA 90802 LBPUD Gas Facility, 2400 E. Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90806 All preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs shall adhere to and comply with OSHA standards. Bidders must be licensed and certified for air compressor maintenance and repairs by the State of California to provide services as described. Proof of licensing and insurance will be required before a contract can be issued. Air Compressor parts may include, but not limited to: - Filters - Air/Oil Separators - Belts - Lubricant - Check Valves - Pressure Relief Valves - Gauges - Bearings - Dryers - Plumbing - Automatic Drain Valves Air compressors requiring preventative maintenance and repair may include, but are not limited to, the following manufacturers: - CP - Quincy - Ingersoll Rand - Kaeser - Atlas Copco Airpower - Travani Pumps - PVR Vacuum Pumps - FIAC
