Child exploitation and sexual abuse have profound and long-lasting effects on a child’s physical, emotional, and psychological well-being, leading to significant challenges in their personal development, relationships, and overall quality of life. The purpose of this IRFP is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation to provide an age-appropriate abuse prevention curriculum for students in Grades TK-12. The curriculum is intended to provide supplemental resources for schools to address these issues through prevention, intervention, and support to safeguard the health and safety of children in LAUSD and promote healing and recovery for survivors. These resources are intended to be implemented within the Every Schools Safe Module on Grooming Awareness and Cyber Security.
