Services to be Performed The District is soliciting proposals for After School Education and Safety Program Providers to provide and implement an effective and engaging after-school programs that align with CJUSD goals and the California Department of Education's (CDE) ASES Program standards. The selected provider(s) will: • Operate on-site at CJUSD elementary and middle schools • Offer services that enhance academic performance, promote enrichment, and support social-emotional learning. • Provide a safe and structured environment for students during after-school hours • Service may include, but are not limited to: o Tutoring and homework assistance o STEM and project- based learning o Arts, music and drama o Physical fitness and recreation activities o Social-emotional learning and character development o Family engagement activities o Staff development o Student safety procedures o Nutrition and health education • Programs must be offered on every regular school day until at least 6:00 p.m
