Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of San Diego is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Services for Children and Adolescents (CAPS). Contractor shall operate an inpatient facility and shall provide comprehensive acute psychiatric inpatient services for children and adolescents in San Diego County who are in need of acute psychiatric care in a secure environment and who are referred and/or authorized to Contractor’s facility by the Child and Adolescent Emergency Screening Unit (ESU). Contractor’s facility shall provide intensive physical and mental assessment, evaluation, treatment, psychosocial, rehabilitation and education services for children and adolescent patients in involvement with their families.
