The Contractor shall provide the following services: 1. ACTIVITY TRANSPORTATION: a. Contractor shall provide scheduled wheelchair and ambulatory transport of residents and CalVet support staff to a variety of recreational and cultural activities. Activities may be scheduled up to seven (7) days per week. Hours will vary depending on location and duration of activities; however, activities are typically, but not limited to, six (6) hours in length and occur between the hours of 6 AM and 1 AM. Scheduled activities may include any configuration of staff and residents (ambulatory and non-ambulatory), as well as necessary mobility devices such as wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers. Contractor shall be informed of the configuration of passengers and devices at the time of scheduling the activity; however, the Home reserves the right to modify the configuration at the time of loading as long as it does not exceed the capacity of the original request.
