The County of Fresno on behalf of the Department of Public Health (FCDPH) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to lead, plan, coordinate and implement active transportation project events. Active transportation project events are bike rodeo safety skills courses and bicycle repair pop-ups. Qualified contractor needs to have the capacity to obtain necessary insurances for active transportation events as required, and/or obtain necessary city permits when needed/required. Qualified contractor is encouraged to contract with expert contractor(s) and have at least one bilingual Spanish speaking person(s) to implement specific scope of service deliverables. Qualified contractor will support the CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) program’s efforts to improve, promote, and support physical activity opportunities and prevent obesity among the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program–Education (SNAP-Ed) eligible residents living in qualified census tracks of: Kerman (zip code 93630), Lowell neighborhood (zip code 93701), Parlier (zip code 93648), Reedley (zip code 93654), Orange Cove (zip code 93646), Sanger (zip code 93657), South West Fresno (zip code 93706), and other approved communities as identified by Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCDPH).
