Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Access Control System a. Install access control on twenty-three (23) doors. i. Provide cables to all doors. b. Install controllers on the wall near the switches. i. Use conduit and flex conduit to conceal the cables. c. Replace the existing system on eighteen (18) doors. d. Add six (6) doors installations in the Police Department. i. Use existing cables when possible and run new cables to the six new doors. e. Provide door contacts and devised to the twenty (20) existing access control doors. i. Run cables for the contacts and new devices. f. Contractor is to identify issues with existing wiring and notify the City prior to replacement. g. All access control doors must have door electrification hardware prior to installation. h. New system should have its own new setup – can utilize Windows, Linux, or any other operating system. i. System must run on its own separate network (specific to the readers and controllers).
