Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide annual testing, inspection, repair, maintenance, and programming of the Vanderbilt Access Control System (VACS) and related components. a. All VACS devices shall be tested, which includes but is not limited to the control panels, batteries, power supply, conductors, annunciators, interface equipment, readers, door controllers, electric panic bars, latches, strikes, electronic locks, electronic panic hardware, peripheral devices, and initiating devices, fuses, lamps, and notification appliances. b. Testing of the VACS devices includes inspection, functional testing, cleaning, and sensitivity testing, utilizing only manufacture’s approved testing equipment and performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and requirements specified herein to verify operation, electrical contact condition, reporting function, and ensuring proper mounting.
