Scope of Work: The County of San Diego (County), Department of Public Works (DPW) has a requirement for As-Needed Concrete/Transit Mix to be delivered to various locations throughout the County. 2. Definitions: 2.1. PSI: Pounds per Square Inch 2.2. CY: Cubic Yard 2.3. COR: DPW’s Contracting Officer Representative 3. Product Specifications 3.1. 2500 PSI Concrete 3.2. 3250 PSI Concrete 3.3. 4000 PSI Concrete 3.4. 100-E-100 Cement slurry mix 3.5. Class 2 concrete (per “State of California, Dept. of Transportation, Standard Specifications, 2018”): 3.5.1. Shall comply with Sect. 90 3.5.2. Minimum cementitious material content shall be 615 LB per CY 3.5.3. The amount of free water shall not exceed 340 LB per CY 3.5.4. Minimum compressive strength at 28 days shall be 4,000 PSI 3.6. Minor Concrete (per “State of California, Dept. of Transportation, Standard Specifications, 2018”): 3.6.1. Shall comply with Sect. 90 3.6.2. If structure(s) requires minimum compressive strength at 28 days of 2,500 PSI, then minimum cementitious material content shall be 520 LB per CY. If structure(s) require minimum compressive strength at 28 days of 3,250 PSI, then the minimum cementitious material content shall be 560 LB per CY
