Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Request for Information (RFI) is to request feedback from the supplier community who have experience providing an AI-based Master Scheduling solution. The information gathered through this RFI will be taken into consideration during the development of a new solicitation for the requested services. DESIRED SOLUTION FEATURES - Replacement for the existing Master Scheduling currently processes multiple scheduling scenarios and course requests within MiSiS. The replacement system should include support for the following areas of solutions: 1. Single Sign On: a. The System shall utilize District's Single Sign-on in Azure AD to authenticate LAUSD users to access the web site. i. Support for SAML 2.0 or Open ID Connect ii. o Support for policy-based access 2. 2. System Requirements: a. The system should be either cloud based or web hosted solution and the administration and security for the Master Scheduling software adheres to all CIPA and COPA requirements in addition to tracking and monitoring of usage. The application must adhere to all State and Federal regulations relating to student data privacy and confidentiality. This includes, but is not limited to, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). b. • Assigned system administrators shall be able to assign, approve, and remove user roles and permissions through web API integration with the District’s OneAccess user role management system. 3. Functional Requirements: a. These Industry Standard requirements are considered for a baseline understanding of what any Master Scheduling solution should support.
