The District is seeking qualified and experienced security service providers to submit proposals for the provision of armed security guard services. The objective of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to establish a contract with a licensed security firm capable of delivering reliable, professional, and proactive overnight and weekend roving patrol services across the District’s schools, facilities, and associated properties. These services are intended to enhance the safety and security of District assets, deter unauthorized activity, respond to incidents in real-time, and ensure a consistent presence during non-operational hours. The selected vendor will be expected to provide highly trained, licensed armed security personnel who can operate within a public school environment, adhere to applicable laws and District policies, and work in coordination with local law enforcement and District staff when necessary. The District places a high priority on safety, accountability, and professionalism. Therefore, the successful Proposer must demonstrate a strong track record of service in similar environments, effective communication protocols, and the ability to deploy resources flexibly in response to varying needs across the District.
