Translate the findings from Phase 1 into potential physical redesign solutions for the existing Freedom Center facility. This phase should focus on how the current building footprint could be renovated, reconfigured, or repurposed to meet identified community needs. Tasks: • Conduct a high-level building conditions assessment of the Freedom Center (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, accessibility, and building code compliance, accessibility). • Develop space planning diagrams showing how the existing footprint could be reorganized to support current and potential future uses. • Prepare three conceptual redesign alternatives (e.g., “Deluxe,” “Standard,” and “Economy”) that illustrate different levels of investment and scope of improvements. Assess capacity for modern technology integration. • Provide schematic plans, diagrams, and illustrative renderings or sketches for each concept. • Provide preliminary cost estimates for each alternative, including construction, soft costs, and contingencies (Rough Order of Magnitude). • Identify any phasing strategies or operational impacts during construction. Deliverables: a conceptual redesign package including— • Space planning diagrams and schematic floor plans • Visual renderings or conceptual sketches • Preliminary cost estimates and comparison table • Narrative descriptions of scope, benefits, and operational implications • Phasing and implementation considerations for each alternative
