The Alhambra Unified School District has implemented a pre-qualification process to ensure the Contractors bidding and performing work on Construction Bond Program projects and other District projects are skilled, competent and capable contractors. All general, prime, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors must be pre-qualified to bid for construction projects valued at more than $1 million dollars. Please complete the Contractor Prequalification Application. (Reference Page 18 for Package checklist). Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD) will be bidding projects located at (4) high schools, (13) elementary schools, and various District facilities. Construction projects will include modernization and seismic retrofit of existing buildings; District-wide HVAC upgrades; electrical upgrades; District-wide roof replacement; abatement projects; hardscape upgrades; landscaping & irrigation upgrades; infrastructure upgrades including domestic water re-pipe District-wide; fencing and gate upgrades; door and window upgrades; playfield upgrades; site and building signage upgrades; ADA upgrades; lunch and shade structures; marquees; fire alarm upgrades; and drinking fountain upgrades.
