The qualified afterschool and summer enrichment provider shall provide afterschool programming for one or more of PRJUSD elementary schools while adhering to the following requirements: Transportation: Off-site services require the vendor to provide “safe passge” as defined by CDE, from one or more PRJUSD elementary schools to the vendor location. Examples of safe passage include walking with a supervising adult and/or riding on a bus or in a van with supervision. Please provide information regarding the name and location of any/all sites where you would provide service to PRJUSD students, the school(s) which would serve, the number of classroom spaces available, and the capacity your agency can service at each location. Program Basics: days/ hours/ ratio: 1. Implement an afterschool program that operates on every school day, Monday through Friday for at least three (3) hours after the final elementary school bell and, for a minimum of nine (9) hours a day, for a total of 30 days in July and June of the fiscal school year. 2. Maintain a pupil-to-staff member ratio of no more than 20:1 in grades 1-5, and 10:1 in grades TK-K. Maintain 10:1 in any room of combined grade levels that include TK-K. 3.
