Specifications include, but are not limited to: Oracle Aconex implementation will include ensuring that the BSVII project functions below can be performed using Aconex which includes but would not be limited to the following: 1. Document Sharing – doc upload/download protocols, doc status & information life cycle management, document access protocols i.e. Confidential, Tiered access controls, etc. 2. Document Control – Doc numbering, doc types (emails, transmittals, submittals, contract docs, invoice docs etc.), access controls, version controls, meta data for grouping, filtering & reports 3. Document Management – Secure management, capturing & viewing document images (native file vs viewers), Information/Document Lifecycle Management – custom workflows, workflow tracking and reporting, Archiving 4. Managed Communications – official communications such as RFI’s, Notice of Noncompliance, etc. 5. Managed Team Collaborations – Collaboration types (internal, external, internal & external), Managing Work-in-Progress vs Final Documents and Deliverables, Managing collaboration protocols and user access to information and files, managing the sprawl of collaboration sites 6. Submittals Management a. Traditional – includes set up of Submittal package register and schedule, formal transmittal of Submittals and Submittal packages Formal Review workflows, Comments Disposition and Integration with Blue Beam b. Digital Delivery – Common Data Environment (CDE) management, includes submittals of files for BIM models, AutoCAD drawing components etc. that would be required to update digital models of engineering designs – these are the Digital Submittal packages (equivalent to traditional Submittal Packages of pdf drawings, etc.) Model Coordination in a Common Data Environment 1. Simplify BIM model coordination, connecting teams, models, and project data in a neutral and secure collaborative environment 2. Seamlessly share, review, and contribute to models without specialized software 3. Save time by easily importing and opening Revit files directly within Aconex 4. Utilize a single platform to raise, communicate, and manage the coordination process with a dashboard to control and monitor progress 5. A complete set of linked handover information and full audit trail of all decisions at project completion
