• Remove both bullhorns from the area marked “1”. They are facing another school campus and are obsolete. • Run two new cables (2 wire 16 gauge/shielded) from the MDF room (Office 222) to the gym at location “2”. Use the existing raceway in the hallway. One cable will be used for the gym only, and one cable will be used outside by stairwell S88. Bullhorns are to be mounted as shown on the original prints. Route conduits to hallway wireway via this area. Note that this is a rated wall and any penetrations must be fire caulked and sealed. • At “4” replace the bullhorns by stairwell 124AAre these located inside or outside the courtyard • At “5”, route new conduits to feed exterior speakers on the outside of the structure. Connect to the wireway in the main hallway at this level. All bullhorns should be mounted to a bell box, with no exposed wiring. The wiring should come from inside the bell box to the outdoor bell box. The protection cages can be cut to allow the conduit to pass if needed. • At “6” Existing bullhorns were never connected to wiring at this location in the raceway. In this area, no new wire runs are necessary from the MDF. • Horns were never connected at label “7”. The wiring was smashed because of the lack of proper boxes, so it was exposed to the weather. They are to be connected to the second floor bathroom and hallway wiring.
