Purpose of Work. The Consultant shall perform consultation, research, professional and technical services required for Environmental Generalist Services, including, but not limited to, field sampling, studies, analysis, reports, and work related to testing equipment calibration, on an “as-needed” basis to support the Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Environmental Planning, District 8, from 0 phase to 3 phase completion of various projects, in the maintenance, development and construction of proposed Caltrans transportation facilities.
