1 Engine must comply with U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emission requirements. 2 Turbocharged engine net flywheel horsepower shall be at least 110 H.P. @2200 RPM, fourcylinder liquid cooled, high pressure direct injection fuel system with mechanically driven fuel transfer pump. 3 Engine shall have a DPF regen system that does not require operator interaction or force the machine to be parked for regen. This system operates in the background during normal machine operation. 4 The engine will have a standard glow plug starting aid for efficient cold weather starting to –20 degrees F (-28 degrees C) without using ether. 5 Engine shall be protected to a minimum -34 degrees F (-36.7 degrees C) with extended life antifreeze that needs not to be replaced for 5 years. 6 Heat exchangers shall be located within the engine compartment for easy service access 7 Engine shall have a single all-in-one fuel filter that provides filtration as well as water separation to minimize maintenance costs 8 The engine shall have a vertical cartridge style "Eco" fuel filter that contains no metal and is easily disposed of. 9 The engine shall have an internally mounted, dry-type, perimeter seal air cleaner with an integral pre-cleaner, automatic dust ejection system, and filter condition indicator. 10 Engine has an EGR valve located on the hot side of the EGR cooler to add robustness to soot build up and sticking.
