a. Scheduled periodic service and adjustment of the Facilities as required by both 14 CFR Part 171 and the FAA’s “Operations and Maintenance Manuals” for Installations under the scope of services of this proposal. b. The scheduled periodic service and adjustments performed on the NAVAID Facilities will consist of those tests and services required by the Maintenance Regulations and those adjustments to the NAVAID Facilities that are required for compliance with the performance requirements of the “Maintenance Regulations”, 14 CFR Part 171, Non-Federal Navigation Facilities. The proposer shall record the results of these tests and adjustments in a station log and send copies to the FAA as required. The proposer will work with the Lake Tahoe Airport Manager to meet the requirements of their Operations and Maintenance Manuals. c. Restoration of the NAVAID Facilities to meet the performance requirements of the Maintenance Regulations following an unscheduled outage. The restoration of the NAVAID Facilities following an unscheduled outage shall be performed by the proposer within 48-hours of notification of a NAVAID Facility outage or prescribed by the Maintenance Regulations, and to the satisfaction of and within the reasonable time periods set by the Lake Tahoe Airport Manager for full restoration of such NAVAID Facilities, provided that restoration is not prevented by lack of readily available replacement parts or resulting from damage so extensive as to be not readily repairable, or delays caused by FAA inspection or flight check requirements, or delays caused by other factors beyond the control of proposer. d. The proposer shall provide trained and certified personnel able to respond to unscheduled outages twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. e. The proposer shall provide all calibration and testing equipment to maintain the NAVAID Facility. The City is responsible for the cost for part repair and/or replacement that is beyond the capability of the proposer or involves proprietary parts. The proposer shall assist the City in locating repair and part service providers for restoration of NAVAID Facility. The City will be responsible for time, materials and costs associated with the repair or replacement of parts; however, the proposer shall be responsible for the removal and reinstallation of parts repaired or replaced by the City within the scope of work of this professional services agreement. f. The proposer shall provide an 100% performance bond for any contracts over $25,000.00. Performance bond over $25,000 covers 100% of contracted amount. g. The proposer shall also provide a fully insured vehicle with air to ground radio and rotating beacon for use on Airport Property. The proposer’s technicians must be capable of driving on the airfield movement area after initial driver training provided by the City. Any proposer technicians must maintain a valid driver’s license when working at the Airport.
