The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities in Los Angeles County. The purpose of this Strategic Plan for Disability Services is to create a comprehensive, data-driven roadmap that enhances accessibility, promotes inclusion, and strengthens service delivery for individuals with disabilities. It aims to assess current service gaps, identify priority areas for improvement, and establish actionable strategies for expanding and optimizing disability services over the next one to five years. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, improving resource allocation, and advocating for policy reforms, this plan seeks to ensure that individuals with disabilities have equitable access to essential services that support their independence, well-being, and full participation in the community. The purpose of this strategic plan is to: • Assess the current landscape of disability services. • Identify unmet needs • Identify priority services for people with disabilities in Los Angeles County. • Enhance collaboration among stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, service providers and the Commission on Disabilities. • Develop strategies for service expansion and improvement. • Identify the necessary resources, including funding and staffing, to address service gaps. • Establish a clear roadmap for the next 1–5 years, prioritizing actions to align with emerging needs that foster inclusion and independence for individuals with disabilities
