The City of Arroyo Grande, California (the “City”) was incorporated as a general law City in 1911 in San Luis Obispo County along the Arroyo Grande Creek. The City covers a 5.45 square mile service area and serves a population of approximately 18,200. The City maintains over 68 miles of pavement with a current average pavement condition index (PCI) of 57. The City uses Streetsaver® to manage its street inventory and maintenance. The City is seeking a qualified firm to provide preliminary design services for identified street locations. These preliminary design services include the following: • Coring and deflection testing for pavement evaluation. • Analyzing evaluation results to identify optimum rehabilitation. • Providing estimated costs based on evaluation.
