The City of La Quinta proposes to develop a parking analysis and strategy recommendation for its Village Commercial District and Build-Out Plan Area (Vicinity Map included as Attachment 6) to evaluate parking adequacy in regard to current and future demand. The first portion of the project will involve a comprehensive analysis of existing parking conditions, including an inventory of available facilities and an evaluation of both vehicle and pedestrian circulation patterns. Considering those results, the second portion of the project will provide a recommended parking development and management strategy for current and anticipated future needs, citing a practical yet innovative infrastructure solution while remaining sensitive to the Village theme and the needs of local businesses.
