Packing and grooming operations shall result in all the roads and locations shown in the map being usable and passable in a safe manner for the purposes that they are intended. Accordingly, and unless otherwise coordinated by the County by written task order, or emergency verbal task order, the Contractor shall pack and groom the snow on the designated roadways and parking lots in the most efficient and economical method possible. The Contractor shall maintain clear of snow all fire hydrants and standpipes within the packing and grooming area after every storm and/or once per twenty-four (24) hour period during a storm, whichever is less. The Contractor shall make every effort to not plow, push or groom snow at fire hydrants or into streams and drainage areas. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to map all hydrants for clearing. Contractor will be considered in default of the contract for failure to dig out snow in the manner described herein. The Contractor's packing and grooming operations and shift schedules shall be such that normal packing and grooming tasks are completed by seven (7) a.m.
