The consultant shall provide the following services during the bidding process and construction phase of the project: 1. Bid Support Services: The Consultant shall provide written design clarification responses during the bid phase and respond to written questions from prospective bidders, including but not limited to evaluation of alternative construction methods as proposed by potential bidders. The Consultant shall assist in issuing an addendum, as direct by the City. 2. Preconstruction: The Consultant shall attend the pre-construction meeting. 3. Construction Services: The Consultant shall review and assist with responses for shop drawings, submittals, change order requests, requests for information and provide written recommendations to the City. There shall be no limit to the quantity of reviews. However, estimated hours for the proposal shall be based on previous similar projects by the Consultant. The Consultant shall conduct as-needed construction inspections during construction at appropriate stages. The Consultant shall participate in the final inspection and assist with punch list of deficiencies. Construction Support Meetings: The Consultant shall attend and conduct bi-weekly meetings during the construction of the project as described in Task 2 – Project Meetings 4. As-Builts: The Consultant shall prepare “As-Built” drawings based on construction field notes and limited field review by the Consultant. Deliverables: • One (1) digital PDF and one (1) native format copy of as-built record drawings • Digital copies of final specifications, cost estimate and plans in native format (Word, Excel, and AutoCAD)
