This Request for Proposals (hereinafter “RFP” or “Solicitation”) is being issued by the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office (hereinafter, “SFSO” or “City”). SFSO is seeking proposals from qualified non-profit agencies/organizations that have demonstrated experience in working with incarcerated populations and their victims. The department, which is recognized for successful incustody and post-release programs, is seeking to continue innovative violence prevention and survivor empowerment programs. These program are: Resolve to Stop the Violence (RSVP), a program focusing on violence prevention and intervention for men with histories of violence, with a focus on family violence, utilizing a trauma-informed framework at County Jail 3: Batterers’ Intervention Programming (BIP) at the SFSO Community Programs site; and Survivor Restoration Program (SRP) at a SFSO satellite facility.
