Specifications include, but are not limited to:acting by and through its Governing Board, is seeking competitive proposals for a network electronics. The District is currently utilizing Cisco 8510 Wireless Controllers to manage 1,250 Cisco Aironet 2700 and 2800 wireless access points, and is looking to replace the wireless controllers with a new solution that will support the latest Wi-FI 6 standard along with upcoming wireless standards. Similarly, the District is currently using Cisco Catalyst 4500-X switches for it’s campus core, and would like to upgrade to a new platform to support 25 Gbps and eventually 40 Gbps of throughput. Lastly, the District would like to implement a Network Access Control and Network Management System to provide improved network security for all wireless clients.
