Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The city is a PC-based organization with a PC-based design group that works in Adobe Creative Suite. Guide files must be saved in PC format and in the native application and with current version of software. All graphics are preferable vector artwork. If artwork is a photo/image, it is to be at least 200 dpi minimum. Cover design/artwork should always include high resolution photography of at least 200 dpi. If Contract Designer works on an Apple platform, the brochure files must include fonts (Open or True Type faces and links that are compatible with PC environment as well. • Guides must be bound sadle stitch 11” way and printed on a minimum of 80# Gloss text in 8.5 x 11” dimensions. • Print costs must be included in the overall proposed bid amount as the professional services selected is responsible for contracting with or coordinating printing through their own organization. • Revisions should not come at additional costs as it is a major working document. • Design features may be extracted from the Guide and printed as city wide fliers at a later date. The additional separate costs should only be the design difference of the development of a flier and the page design fee.
