Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be performed includes the preparation and coating of three potable water tanks known as Christmas Valley Tank, Cold Creek Tank, and Gardner No. 2 Tank, which are approximately 201,000 gallons, 480,000 gallons, and 213,000 gallons, respectively. The work includes abrasive blasting and recoating of all three tank interior surfaces, and washdown, collection and disposal of debris, sanding and overcoating of the exterior surface of Cold Creek Tank, and other related work. The project includes two bid alternates. Any, all, or none of the alternates may be added to the project at the Districts option. Alternate A includes the washdown, collection and disposal of debris, sanding and overcoating of the exterior surface of Christmas Valley Tank and Alternate B includes the washdown, collection and disposal of debris, sanding and overcoating of the exterior surface of Gardner No. 2 Tank. The tanks are located in or near the City of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, CA.
