Laboratory benches, vacuum pump enclosures, and workstation benches are to be installed in the Sheriff Department’s Toxicology laboratory. The laboratory benches will be used to support/hold the following instruments: Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LCMSMS), Liquid Chromatography Quadrupole Time of Flight (LCQTOF), and centrifuge instruments. The vacuum pump enclosures will be used to house the vacuum pumps from the LCMSMS, and LCQTOF instruments to reduce the noise generated from the pumps. Workstation benches will be used for all computer-related equipment associated with the LCMSMS and LCQTOF instruments. 1. MOBILE VACUUM PUMP ENCLOSURES FOR LCMSMS AND LCQTOF INSTRUMENTS Product Specifications: • Interior cabinet of vacuum pump enclosures must be able to support up to approximately 100-125 pounds • Vacuum pump enclosure must have the approximate dimensions: 32 inches (W), 30 inches (D), and 27" (H) • Vacuum pump enclosure must have a phenolic resin surface top (black in color), approximately one inch thick with dimensions of 30 inch (D) and 32 inch (W) with two cutouts, approximately 1.5 inches X 8 inches • Vacuum pump enclosure must have heavy-duty anti-vibration/leveling castors such as tshe Black Foot master plated leveling castor with thumb adjustment wheel (GDR-60-F-NYN) or equivalent. Castors must have at least 500 – 600 pound load capacity • Vacuum pump enclosure must have a hinged door with a push latch or equivalent and must have venting slats • Vacuum pump enclosure must have approximately two or more rear cooling fans capable of approximately 200 CFM maximum airflow • Vacuum pump enclosure must have approximately two, 2.5-inch rear cut-outs with grommets • Vacuum pump enclosure must have at least two removable side access panels • Interior walls of the vacuum pump enclosure must be lined with sound isolation foam or equivalent • The interior cabinet floor of the vacuum pump enclosure must contain a phenolic resin pan/tray or equivalent, approximately one inch thick, and capable of holding a LCMSMS/LCQTOF pump (up to approximately 100 pounds).Laboratory benches, vacuum pump enclosures, and workstation benches are to be installed in the Sheriff Department’s Toxicology laboratory.
