In general, the work to be performed under these specifications consists of complete streets related improvements to 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, from 10th Street to the Richmond City Limit in Richmond, California. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, providing traffic control during the construction period, construction surveying, utility potholing, clearing, grubbing, and environmental protection, removal of concrete curbs, sidewalk, valley gutter, and driveways, removal of trees and tree stumps, adjustment of underground utility surface features, placement of concrete curbs, gutters, valley gutters, and driveways, concrete medians, concrete curb ramps, drainage swale, trench drains, pavement repairs (base repairs), cold milling of asphalt pavement, conform grinding, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving, slurry seal, thermoplastic traffic striping and traffic markings including new bike lanes, rectangular rapid flash beacon and pedestrian push button, traffic signal removal and replacement, street lighting, removing and placing of signs and signposts, median landscaping, and as shown on the project plans.
