2 EA EATING DISORDERS TRAINING; 24 EA TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CALLS; The Department of Mental Health (DMH) seeks to train mental health clinicians at both directly operated and contracted agencies throughout Los Angeles County with evidencebased interventions for eating disorders by offering training to help understand, identify, and respond appropriately when faced with a patient with a possible eating disorder. The goal of this purchase order is to build capacity and increase a clinicians’ confidence when working with clients with eating disorders or disordered eating. These training courses to be offered have been designed to meet multiple training needs and focus on the importance of and roles within the multidisciplinary care team while providing ongoing treatment.
